anything but that!

I decided it was time to potty train the boy. I have DEFINITELY been putting it off, hoping beyond hope that he would just do it on his own (yeah right! but you can wish...). So far I have only wanted to quit twice, he is successful about 50% of the time, and we have only had to watch about 900 hours of tv. Yahoo! But seriously. I really really REALLY don't like potty training.

And while I'm getting nothing done besides monitor Austin all day, Mady decided to cut her own hair. I didn't realize until I saw chunks of hair on the kitchen table. When I asked her about it she said, "Mom I just decided my hair was too long." So I ended up giving her a bob cut tonight.

And Mia has been so patient through this all. She will walk up to me with one of Mady's tutus and want me to put it on her. She is jabbering like crazy! Some new words: blankey, cheese, hello, GO (yelled really loud, then she takes off running), please, thank you...she is a bundle of fun.

Meanwhile, Ryan has been working like crazy, as usual, which is hard on both of us.

I just can't wait for Austin to figure out this whole potty thing. I will reward myself with a gallon of ice cream!

A stool and a bag of cheerios by the toilet and Austin will be fabulous...for some reason that was the fool-proof way one of my friends trained her six boys...yup...six! They were great and rarely missed!
