Saturday was an eventful day.
Ryan had to go in to work, so my dad was kind enough to watch the kids for me while I got my haircut. It was long overdue. My brother has cancer and just shaved his head and so we are cutting/shaving our heads to show support for him (want to join in? go here to find out more.)
Dorky self-portrait before
Short and loving it after
The haircuts didn't stop there. My cute dad decided he wanted to support my brother by shaving his head. His biggest worry was that Mia (who absolutely loves her grandpa) wouldn't recognize him. We decided the best way to combat this was to have Mia watch the haircut. She just kind of giggled at him and went right to him...even when he was bald. Phew.

We also managed to stop in at our favorite fabric store, go grocery shopping, make dinner, watch Ryan's little sister play in the NCAA soccer tournament on tv, and watch BYU football. It was a full day.
